This is Nicole’s fourth year at showing at the State Farm Show. In the past four years, she has won Best of Breed in the English Lop, Polish, Flemish Giant, and Mini Lop rabbit breeds.
Once again this year, Nicole won the Best of Breed with the following rabbits: Flemish Giant (Sandy Senior Doe) Gidget, Polish (Blue Eyed White Senior Doe) Alaska, English Lop (Solid Senior Buck) Deuce, and Mini Lop (Broken Senior Buck) Peppermint Jack (PJ).
Also Nicole is the top breeder of Flemish Giant Rabbits in Western Pennsylvania according to the points. This year, she surprised everyone with her Mini Lop Broken Senior Buck who won Grand Reserve Champion.
The PA State Farm Show began last Saturday and continues through this Saturday, January 16th in Harrisburg. Nicole plans on attending the state convention show in Lebanon, Pennsylvania in February, and also several different rabbit shows in PA, OH, and NY this upcoming spring and fall. She also runs the Rabbit Department in the Butler County Fair in July.
