VOAD MEETING – Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) will meet on Tuesday, April 24, 7:00 PM at the Belmont Complex. The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the VOAD structure (local, state, & national) & purpose and to consider the possibility of forming a local chapter. This appears to help us as churches to fulfill our goal of responding to a local emergency/catastrophe in as helpful a way as possible. This is more than a church meeting, as invitations are being extended to other organizations that would potentially be active in response to emergencies. If you and/or additional church representatives plan to attend, please let me know as soon as you can so that we can provide attendance info to the Belmont Complex. Email: pastorchuck85@gmail.com
