REVIVAL The First Church of God in Kittanning will be hosting Revival Services at the Vision Hill Property located at 13374 State Route 422 starting Sunday, August 20 until Wednesday, August 23.  Services will begin each evening at 6:30pm, which a lesson for the children each night during the sermon.  All are welcome to attend. BROWN BAG SERIES Aug 23rd Jack Clevesey, Executive Director of the Richard G. Snyder YMCA, will present at the Brown Bag Series from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23 at Ford City Library. Clevesey will facilitate a talk on adult and senior citizen programming offered at the YMCA.

CAR SHOW The First Church of God Kittanning Youth Group will be hosting a Car Show on Saturday, August 26 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.  The cost is $5 a car/motorcycle.  Refreshments will also be available, and all proceeds will go to the Youth Group. 20th ANNUAL HUNTING HERITAGE BANQUET – August 26 at 5PM at the Kittanning Township Firehall. Sponsored by the Kit-Han-Ne Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. The cost is $50 per person, which includes a NWTF membership and one meal… or $65 per couple which includes membership and two meals. Cost for current NWTF members is $15. There will be live auction, silent auction, and games. High school seniors heading to college are eligible to win scholarship awards: $300 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place. MEMORIAL STREET SIGN DEDICATION to Honor Silver & Bronze Star recipient, Sgt., William Lee Anderson, native son of Templeton, PA. Bill was killed in action in Vietnam on May 27th, 1969. Date of dedication is Aug 27th (noon) at Templeton Church of God. Luncheon to follow.

RECOVERY WALK to celebrate National Recovery Month on Saturday, September 16 from 12-4PM at Kittanning Riverfront Park. Sponsored by The Advocacy Group (TAG). The event will include speakers, a dunking booth, face painting, music, and prizes for those who raised money by getting people to sponsor them with donations for the walk.
