Block Party Planned for Dizzy Lizzie’s in Kittanning

Staff members of Dizzy Lizzie’s Restaurant in downtown Kittanning are excited about their First Dizzy Lizzie Block Party.

The Block Party will be held on the street under a big tent (rain or shine) at the corner of Market and South McKean Street this Saturday beginning at 5 PM. The restaurant received permission to close down that portion of South McKean Street to hold the party.

A few questions have been aroused due to the film production team, and the bridge closure this Saturday, and how it will affect the Block Party.

“We have received calls from concerned patrons asking if the Block Party will still be held. I would like to assure all who may be concerned that there will still be plenty of parking, and that the town will not be shut down because of the bridge being closed,” said Dizzy Lizzie owner, Fred Bonello.

Dizzy Lizzie’s will offer barbe-cue ribs and chicken under the big tent — all you can eat for $9.95. The price also includes cole slaw and baked beans. Other beverages will also be available.
