Kittanning Borough Councilwoman Betsy Wilt will continue to serve the 1st Ward voters after winning another term in office.
Wilt, a Democrat, ran unopposed on the ballot. However, at the last minute, local business owner Justin Brown mounted a write-in campaign to unseat Wilt.
Wilt received 53 votes while Brown had 38 votes.
Wilt has served on various committees and was a proponent of the purchase of a new garbage truck and new dump truck. She currently is working on the 2020 budget.
