Animal Rescue is Theme of Weekend Fundraising

These are images from last year’s “Fall for Animals” Festival. The event takes place tomorrow and Sunday at the Crooked Creek Horse Park.

A local group is once again raising money to help organizations that are rescuing animals.

This is the fifth year for “Fall for Animals” Festival. The event is being held this weekend, Saturday, October 12 from 11AM until 6PM and Sunday from 12 Noon until 5PM at the Crooked Creek Horse Park.

The event will feature a craft and vendor show in addition to face painting, pumpkin painting, basket raffles, and other drawings.

Food will also be available from various vendors.

A $5 parking donation is requested. Pets are welcome to attend with you but must be leashed.

Musical entertainment will be available by “Common Ground”, “Street Fair”, “Houseband”, and “Dream Catchers”.
