The 2nd Annual Ride for Our Veterans and Fallen Heroes was held on Saturday, August 10. Over 100 motorcycles convened at the Cowansville American Legion as the ride began at 11AM. The group traveled from Cowansville to the Freeport VFW Post 6648; then to the Vandergrift American Legion Post 114. They showed up mid afternoon at the Saltsburg American Legion Post 57; and made the final stop at the Ford City VFW Post 4843 in Pattonville before returning to Cowansville. Once back at the American Legion, they were served hot sausage sandwiches, barbecue ribs, and additional food. Various groups from around the region participated, including more than a dozen of the Combat Vets.

The riders come up to the intersection of Route 356 on their way to Vandergrift. The riders waved as many residents came out to wave and wish them well as they drove through their town.

The motorcycles roar into Freeport on the first stop of their ride.

The riders packed out the American Legion in Saltsburg.
