Manor Township Looking for Contractor to Install Rubber Roof on Park Building

Supervisors are looking for a roofing contractor to replace the rubber roof on the maintenance building at Fort Run Park.

Manor Township supervisors are attempting to find a contractor that can replace the roof on the rest rooms / maintenance building at Fort Run Park.

“We had contractor said he would do it, but now can’t do it. We have to get roof replaced,” Supervisor Chair Don Palmer said at last week’s public meeting.
According to Palmer, all of the materials for the project have been donated. The supervisors had previously approved $1,100 several months ago to do the rubber roof installation, but the work was never completed.

“Now we need to come up with a contractor,” Palmer said.

New doors were installed on the restroom area of the maintenance building as part of the upgrades at Fort Run Park.

Supervisor Bob Southworth made the motion to spend an additional $1,000 to have contractor do the project and get it done. Supervisor Tag Hecker agreed.
