A Cadogan man was injured in an accident late Friday afternoon in North Buffalo Township.

Robert Heckman, 42, of Cadogan was driving his 2014 Chrysler 200 sedan on Prospect Avenue, approximately one mile from Cadogan near Falsetti’s Villa Restaurant. As he was going up the hill, he crossed over the double yellow line according to State Police Trooper Jordan Smith. Heckman drove into the path of a 2013 Kenworth tanker truck carrying sand driven by Ronald L. Brown, 23, of Punxsutawney. Once the two vehicles collided, Brown lost control of the tanker and came to rest after striking the restaurant building.

Heckman was transported by Ford City Ambulance. Brown was not injured in the crash. No one in the restaurant was injured, but the restaurant closed for the evening and reopened the next day.
