Manor Township supervisors discussed pending roadwork that will have Stitt Hollow Road closed for several days.
According to Supervisor Bob Southworth, the road will be closed at the VFW parking lot at the intersection of Port Street and Stitt Hollow Road from Monday, June 17 through Wednesday, June 19. Southworth said the road closure is necessary because crews will be digging a trench across the roadway to lay a drainage pipe that is five feet in diameter and 40 feet long. The pipe has already been delivered and is lying near the location where it will be installed.
The detour will be to take Fort Run Road from Riverside Supermarket until you come to the intersection with Stitt Hollow Road.
