A late game comeback on Tuesday turned into a Pirate offensive outburst on Wednesday. Pittsburgh took down Texas 7-5 to sweep the two game interleague series. Rookie Bryan Reynolds hit a three run double to key the Bucs four run fourth inning. That gave enough run support to Jameson Taillon, who pitched into the seventh inning and struck out five batters. The Pirates are now 14-14, and today’s a travel day back to the Steel City before a weekend series with the Athletics.
