Pennsylvania State Police released details over the weekend of a shooting incident along Pleasant View Drive, East Franklin Township.
According to Trooper Michael Dunlap, sometime between the hours of 3:30-4:30 PM on Wednesday, February 6, an unknown person fired a .22 caliber firearm from a moving vehicle, striking the victim’s vehicle that was parked in their driveway.
The .22 caliber bullet struck the passenger side door approximately 12 inches below the window. The bullet traveled through the passenger door, and then struck the driver’s side door. The bullet stopped once it struck the metal sheeting on the driver’s door and fell to the bottom of the door cavity.
Dunlap said no suspects have been identified for this incident at this time. The police are requesting anyone with information to contact the Kittanning barracks at 724-543-2011.
