Following the tragic shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue on Saturday, October 27, 2018, like many who are grieving, the staff of Quality Life Services felt moved to contribute and help in some way. Generous employee donations were matched by Quality Life Services. The entire donation – $1,030.00 – has been mailed to Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) in honor of their dear friend and corporate Medical Director Dr. Marc Oster.

About Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HAIS):
Founded as the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society in 1881 to assist Jews fleeing pogroms in Russia and Eastern Europe, HIAS has touched the life of nearly every Jewish family in America and now welcomes all who have fled persecution. HIAS rescues people whose lives are in danger for being who they are. [They] protect the most vulnerable refugees, helping them build new lives and reuniting them with their families in safety and freedom. [They] advocate for the protection of refugees and assure that displaced people are treated with the dignity they deserve. (Sourced from: https://www.hias.org/mission-and-values)
