Manor Supervisors Promise No Tax Increase

Manor Township supervisors promised no tax increase as they adopted the 2019 tentative budget at this week’s public meeting.

The total income expected in 2019 will be $1,360,665.99. Total expenses have been budgeted at $1,573,164.00 for 2019. Although spending exceeds income, it is offset by use of some of fund balance.

Fund balance will be reduced from $1,465,840.00 to $1,253,341.99.
Supervisors Bob Southworth and Tag Hecker voted for adoption of the tentative budget. Supervisor Chairman Don Palmer was not at the meeting due to a family emergency.

The tentative budget will be approved at the December 5 public meeting.
