Local Man Jailed on Westmoreland County Warrant

RAYBURN – An unidentified 23-year-old Kittanning man was arrested following a traffic stop in the 200 block of Clearfield Pike in Rayburn Township at 8:30 AM yesterday. State Police Trooper Burkarth stated that the traffic stop was made for a window tint violation. It was found the passenger of the vehicle had an active arrest warrant out of Westmoreland County. The passenger was in possession of marijuana. He was subsequently taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Kittanning barracks for processing, and then placed in the Armstrong County jail. Burkarth was assisted on the scene by troopers Maurer, Endlich, and Church.
