Drugs Found in Cowanshannock Home

COWANSHANNOCK – Two Kittanning men were arrested on drug possession charges stemming from an incident on March 4. State Police were dispatched to a home at 10332 SR 85 for an overdose involving two individuals. Upon arrival, police were notified by EMTs that 25-year-old Jared Hollibaugh-Donley and 22-year-old James Wilson were locked inside the bedroom of the residence. After announcing they were State Police and giving commands to open the door, it was subsequently opened. A strong odor of marijuana emanated from the room. A marijuana pipe and marijuana was in plain view. A search of the bedroom was conducted leading to the finding and seizure of other contraband, including multiple drug paraphernalia pieces, Suboxone packages, empty heroin baggies stamped with “GORILLA GLUE” in red lettering. The two accused were placed under arrest. One of the accused was subsequently placed in the Armstrong County Jail. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Kevin McCausland.

WEST FRANKLIN – A stamp bag full of heroin and various items of drug paraphernalia were found during an investigation at 419 Lairds Crossing. Due to the lack of solvability factors, there are no suspects.
