Meet Cassanova! He is a temporary resident of Orphans of the Storm animal shelter in Rayburn Township. He is a three-year-old Husky mix. His handlers say he is very friendly and loves people. His high energy would do best with a fenced-in yard. He is also animal selective and not fond of small animals. He would love to have a forever home of his own. If that home is with you, call the shelter at (724) 548-4520.
Orphans of the Storm is located just outside of Kittanning on Route 85. They were established in 1969 to provide temporary shelter for unwanted and abused animals. They match lovable animals with loving forever homes, educate the public on humane, responsible care of all animals, and promote spaying and neutering to reduce companion animal over-population.
Orphans of the Storm is a no-kill animal shelter. This means we euthanize an animal only if it is suffering with no hope to be cured, or if the animal is a danger to people or other animals.
