Christina A (Bliss) Housman, 85, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away peacefully with her husband at her side on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at The Manor of Perrysburg, Ohio.
She was born July 25, 1932 in Rimer Hill, Pennsylvania the 9th of 10 children born to Albert W. and Frances M (Englert) Bliss.
She was a 1952 graduate of Kittanning High School and moved to northwest Ohio in 1958, where she met her future husband, Harold F. Housman. They were married April 23, 1960, at the St. Rose Chapel in Perrysburg.
Christina was a woman of strong faith, who was kind and generous. She had been a long time member of Zoar Lutheran Church, Perrysburg, where she taught Sunday School and assisted with the music programs. In later years, she attended St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bowling Green. For many years, she was a room mother in her daughter’s classrooms at Perrysburg Schools.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 57 years, Harold F. Housman, a daughter Hallie F (Edwin) Nagel of Perrysburg, and grand-dog Dixie.
Christina always had a desire to help others, her final gift being an anatomical donation to the University of Toledo Medical Center. Per her wishes, there will be no services.
