Diane L. DeLong-Kunkle, 77, of Ford City, died on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1940, in Kittanning, the daughter of the late Lavonne “Bonnie” and Floyd DeLong.
She graduated from Ford City High School in 1957. After graduation, Diane attended Duff’s Business School.
She was retired from GE and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles F. Kunkle, who was a resident of Cadogan.
Diane enjoyed her pet horse, Angel and her dogs and was very active traveling with friends.
She is survived by sister, Karen and Bob Bowersox of Ford City; her son, Bryan and Lydia Kunkle of St. Augustine, Fla.; her daughter, Kim and Ken Rapien of West Chester, Ohio; two granddaughters, Amanda and Emily Kunkle of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a grandson, Joe Heareth and fiancée Kaydi Tyrone of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and many family and friends.
A memorial service for Diane Kunkle will be held at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 514 Ninth St., Ford City, a Rosary at 9AM and Mass at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, with Father John Gribik officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be held in the church hall after Liturgy.
