SOUTH BUFFALO – State Police Trooper Nicole Ludwig observed 24-year-old Travis Confer of Templeton traveling north on Route 28 in a Chevrolet pickup truck after being involved in a collision and fleeing the scene on January 19 shortly before 8PM.
Multiple reports from cautious motorists provided police with the locations and direction of travel of Confer. Ludwig observed Confer’s vehicle coming to a stop on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township and initiated a traffic stop. Confer then attempted to flee from two State Police vehicles and briefly gave chase at low speed. Confer was forced to stop and immediately taken into custody for DUI, Hit and Run Crash, and Fleeing and Eluding Police.
