The Pennsylvania State Police urges motorists to drive carefully and be courteous to all drivers and pedestrians when traveling during the holidays.
During this time of the year, traffic and pedestrian activity may be greater than normal. Weather also can create adverse driving conditions. Travelers are urged to remain calm and use common sense on the roads.
Primary goals should be to ensure your safety and the safety of those around you, allowing for all to arrive safely at their destinations. By speeding, driving impaired, or engaging in other reckless driving behavior like texting, you put yourself and others at great risk.
Troopers will be enforcing traffic laws including speeding, aggressive driving, and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol during this Christmas holiday period.
Also don’t forget to buckle up before you begin your travels.
