KITTANNING TWP – A Kittanning Township woman was arrested after the home where she was staying sustained more than $100,000 damage in a November 11 fire.
32-year-old Rebicca McElroy was arrested for Arson, Criminal Mischief, and Cruelty to Animals after she allegedly set fire to the residence.
One domesticated cat died and a second was seriously injured in the blaze.
McElroy was living at the home with family members Dan and Betty Mulvey, who were not home at the time of the fire.
McElroy was arraigned and placed in the Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
