Worthington Man Accused of Strangulation

WORTHINGTON – A Worthington man is behind bars stemming from an incident last Saturday.

Pennsylvania State Police Trooper David Endlich responded to a disturbance on Long Circle in Worthington at 10PM.

Upon investigation, it was determined that 31-year-old Richard Joshua Buzas choked an unidentified 59-year-old man and rolled him down the stairs.

Based on the investigation, Buzas was arrested on scene and charges were filed with District Magisterial Judge James Owen of Strangulation, Harassment, and Simple Assault.

Buzas was placed in the Armstrong County Jail, but posted bond on Sunday of $7,500.

There was no information given on the status of the victim following the altercation.
