Councilmen David Croyle and Andy Peters will continue on Kittanning Borough Council for the next four years.
Croyle survived a write-in attempt by local pizza shop owner Jeff Bowser in the First Ward. Croyle received 66 votes while Bowser was only able to secure 17 votes.
Peters, who originally was not going to run in the Primary ended up garnering enough write-in votes to put him on the ballot in the Fourth Ward. He ran against former Borough employee Randy Zellefrow. Peters received 159 to Zellefrow’s 47 votes.
