Driver Crashes into Concrete Barrier on Graff Bridge

NORTH BUFFALO – A driver escaped injury after he crashed his vehicle into a concrete barrier on the Graff Bridge. The accident occurred shortly after midnight on Tuesday, September 12.   21-year-old Anthony Stockdale of Templeton was traveling west on Route 422 in the left lane. He was in an unmanned, posted active work zone when his 2012 Chevrolet Cruze struck the concrete barrier on the left roadside of the bridge with the driver’s side. The concrete barrier divides eastbound and westbound lanes. Stockdale brought his vehicle to a stop several hundred yards west of the Graff Bridge on the right shoulder of Route 422. There were no injuries. According to State Police, multiple side airbags deployed as a result of the crash.
