PennDOT Schedules Work in Kittanning & Manor Townships

Nighttime, flagger-controlled, single lane restrictions planned for next week for the Route 422 Wray Road project in Kittanning and Manor Townships, Armstrong County have been rescheduled.

The intermittent flagging operations and shoulder restrictions planned for next week to perform saw cutting and drainage work between 6 pm and 6 am each day have been rescheduled for the week of March 27.

Daylight, lane restrictions on Route 422 remain in place to perform utility work.

This $9.9 million safety improvement project is being constructed by Independence Excavating Incorporated, and is expected to be completed in late Fall 2018.

The project includes the realignment of Route 422 between Ping Wing Road and Lasher Road and concrete patching through the Route 28/422 Interchange.

Remember to slow down and use caution in work zones.  Expect congestion and delays in the project area.  Fines are doubled for violations in work zones.  Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the workers.
