State Police Report Incidents

McGRANN – Trooper Peter Schultz reported that three vehicles were involved in a hit and run incident late last Thursday night. An unknown driver struck the vehicles while they were parked along Byron Street causing damage. The driver was possibly operating a white SUV or pickup truck that should have sustained damage to its front end and driver’s side.

PINE TWP – The Nautical Mile Campground near Templeton was the target of thieves who removed copper wire from trailers that were being stored inside a covered carport next to the sewage plant between 12/1/16 and 3/10/17. No value of the wire was listed.

SOUTH BUFFALO TWP – A 33-year-old unidentified Shelocta man was driving his vehicle Sunday night at approximately 6:30 on Route 28 North, approximately 2 miles south of Exit 18. Trooper Kurtis Glasgow initiated a traffic stop. The man showed signs of impairment and possessed 44 bags of suspected heroin and related paraphernalia. He consented to a blood draw and charges are pending the lab results.

SUGARCREEK TWP – 42-year-old Richard Gene Wagner reported someone entered his residents during the past month and removed 2 televisions, 4 guns, and tools totaling $1,500. The investigation continues.
