Josephine I. Croyle, 87 of Cabot – formerly of Ford City – died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
She was born December 14, 1926 in Ford City to Jacob and Teresa (Bartek) Kubatko.
Josephine formerly worked at Schenley Distillery.
She was formerly a member of Holy Trinity Church, and loved bowling, riding bikes and walking with the neighbor ladies.
She was a volunteer at the Holy Trinity School and at ACMH.
Josephine is survived by her husband, Ray U. Croyle – whom she married May 21, 1949 -; two sons: Charles (Denise) Croyle of Delmont and James (Kathryn) Croyle of Two Harbors, Minnesota; daughter, Janet (Mark) Werner of Butler; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Paul Kubatko and Edward Kubatko; and four sisters: Rose Walbert, Mary Moore, Eleanor Miexelberger and Helen Volek.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9PM tomorrow -Friday, March 28, 2014 – at the Mantini Funeral Home in Ford City.
A prayer service will be held at 9:30AM Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the funeral home, before a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Christ, Prince of Peace Parish, officiated by Father Bryan Summers.
Interment will be held in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
