Drug Arrests Top Ford City Police Report

The following are some of the nearly-two dozen police arrests that came via the Ford City Police Department February 1: including

- Joshua Toy, 28, of Ford City, was charged with Possession of a small amount of marihuana and Disorderly conduct from an incident that occurred on August 14, 2012 on 12th St.

- David Zeigler, 52, of Kittanning, was charged with Possession of a controlled substance, Prohibited offensive weapons, Habitual Offender, and Maximum speed from an incident that occurred on October 6, 2012 on 5th Ave.

- Rhonda Lynn Munko, 38, of Vandergrift, PA was charged  with Possession of a controlled substance, and Theft by deception from an incident that occurred on November 19, 2012 on 13th St.

- Maria Recupero, 28, of Kittanning, was charged through an investigation with Possession of drug paraphernalia from an incident that occurred at 12:27AM November 24, 2012.

- Shane Michael Giron, 20, of East Brady, was charged with Possession of a small amount of marihuana, Possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, and Disorderly conduct from an incident that occurred on 12th Street.

- Stephen C. Bruner, 22, of Kittanning, was charged through an investigation with Possession of a controlled substance, required financial responsibility, and Operation following suspension of registration from an incident that occurred December 2, 2012 on 6th Ave.

- Ashley Blake Harpool, 21, was charged with DUI, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Possession of a small amount of marihuana, and Careless driving from an incident that occurred March 6, 2012 in the area of Main St. and 3rd Ave.

- Tina M. Geckle, 38, of Kittanning, was charged with DUI, Possession of a controlled substance, and Permitting violation of title from an incident that occurred September 1, 2012 along 5th Ave.

- Timothy Watterson, 52, of Kittanning Pike Chicora, was charged with DUI, Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and various traffic violations from an incident that occurred on August 25, 2012  on 7th St.

 

An ongoing investigation is underway after a burglary occurred Thursday, January 30 along 9th Street, and an attempted burglary on 6th Avenue the next day.

    These stories are old why do they wait so long for the public to know . These people are already prosecuted. Like always something to cover up in small towns.

    @ Rainman.. our police are trying to clean this town up and making a little difference. Every bit helps. What have you done for this town? not a thing! If you want to speak of cover ups,what happened to your ex-ambulance director?

    Dear Bull”” the name that fits you perfect. If you read my comment I did not knock the police, I think the part timers do a wonderfull job. And what have I done for this town, I am a volunteer fireman for 19 years and I had my stint on town council for 4 years. So my I ask Mr. Bull”” what you done for this town as always nothing but run your big mouth. Mr. Bull”” if I think who you are you shouldn’t go runnig your mouth for it my get you in trouble.

    Some of these are almost a year old. Were there only two dozen arrests in the borough in the past year?
