Jill Ann (Johns) Crissman, 44 of Kittanning, died Monday, November 26, 2012 in Allegheny General Hospital.
She was born December 6, 1967 in Kittanning to Patrick and Correna (Wise) Johns.
A lifelong community resident, Jill was a certified nurse and midwife at ACMH. She delivered over 3,000 babies during her service.
She attended church services at Christians with a Vision ministry in Reesdale, where she would volunteer in mission trips.
Jill is survived by her parents; husband Denton, whom she married April 28, 1990, of Adrian; three children: Hilary, Brady and Noah; two brothers: Darrin Johns of Kittanning and David (Stacy) Johns of Greensburg, Pa.; two sisters: Darlene (David, Sr.) Jones of Kittanning and Tammy (Scott) Lash of Adrian; father-in-law, Russell Crissman of Kittanning; three brother-in-laws: Perry (Mimi) Crissman,Robert (Connie) Crissman and Gordon (Karen) Crissman, all of Kittanning; two sister-in-laws: Vanessa Crissman and Vickie (Clifford) Neal, both of Kittanning; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dogs – Taz and Dawson.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Oma B. Crissman; paternal grandparents, Franklin and Rhoda Milliken; and maternal grandparents, James and Liddy Wise.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9PM Thursday, November 29, 2012 in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
Additional visitation will be held at 10AM Friday, November 30, 2012 until funeral services at 11AM at the funeral home.
The Rev. Dr. Ronald G. Shafer will officiate.
Interment will follow in Croyle Cemetery.
