Annabelle (Gray) Moyer, 84, of West Kittanning, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at ACMH.
She was born October 19, 1927 in Armstrong County to Albert and Sarah (Easley) Gray.
Annabelle was retired from ACMH where she worked in housekeeping.
She was a member of Grace Brethren Church in West Kittanning and taught kindergarten Sunday school at Grace Brethren Church for 54 years. She also helped with the Little Lambs class and was a member of the Joy WMC Missionary group.
Teaching Sunday School brought Annabelle the most joy. She also enjoyed doing word puzzles, playing games and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two sons: Robert W. Moyer, Jr. and Daniel Moyer, both of West Kittanning; daughter, Peggy Moyer of Kittanning; four grandchildren: Michael (Tami) Moyer, Adam J. Moyer, Christopher Painter and Gregory Painter and Stacey; five great-grandchildren: Kylie, Caylen, Kyra, Madison and Cali; sister-in-law Shirley Hassler of Butler; David Long of Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of her family, Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Robert W. Moyer, Sr.; two brothers: Clement (Edna Mae) Gray and Stanley (Evelyn) Gray; two sisters: Mary (Arthur) Green and Margaret (Dale) Grafton; and her parents.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Friday, January 27, 2012, at the Kennedy and Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning, with additional visitation available at 10AM Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the funeral home until the time of funeral services at 11AM.
The Rev. Larry Edwards and Rev. Ron Jurke will officiate.
Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
