Isaac Fair, Jr., 87, of Kittanning, died March 11, 2011, at the Armstrong County Health Center.
He was born on September 24, 1923 at Sherrett and lived in the Kittanning area all of his adult life. He was the son of Isaac Fair, Sr. and Gertrude (Gifford) Fair.
He was employed for Eljer in Ford City as a modeler for over 40 years. He was a veteran of World War II in the 1040th Army Airforces and retired as a Corporal.
He was of the Protestant faith and attended Grace Brethren Church in West Kittanning. His hobby included gardening. He was a loving, considerate, and dependable husband, father, and grandfather who always put others before himself. He was truly cherished and will never be forgotten by those who loved him and those he loved.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan E. Myers of Kittanning; granddaughter Ashley N. Myers of New York, NY; a sister Jean (Fair) McGregor of Dayton, OH; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Angelo and Lillian “Lucy” Zeolla of Kittanning; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Anna (Zeolla) Fair; mother and father in-laws Pietro and Mary Zeolla; brother and sister in-law Walter and Edna Fair; sister and brother in law Mabel and Doyle Hetrick; brother-in-law Donald McGregor; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ester and Albert DeMichele; and step-brother and sister-in-law Burton and Alice Fair.
Funeral services for Mr. Fair will be private. Interment will take place in the Lawn Haven Burial Estates through arrangements with Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning.
