Rizzo: Big Weekend in College Football

Many local fans are eagerly awaiting Penn State’s visit to Alabama on Saturday Night. I think even the most optimistic PSU fan can’t be thinking upset. Most fans are viewing this game as a barometer on where this program stands against the BCS contenders. Besides the PSU game, there are many other intriguing match-ups in week two of the college football. A couple of non traditional match-ups: Miami at Ohio State and Florida St. at Oklahoma are catching people’s interests. How good of a coach is Brian Kelly? We might find out when Michigan travels to Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon. Also key an eye on Edinboro and Cal this year. Both teams are in the D2 top 25.
