Many Ford City and Kittanning citizens stuffed their faces and inspired their souls as local churches hosted Mid-Week Lenten Services yesterday afternoon.

The Ford Memorial United Methodist Church in Ford City and the Grace Presbyterian Church in Kittanning held their services at noon yesterday.

Pastor Jim Vincent of the First Baptist Church of Ford City stressed his message to audience members at a Mid-Week Lenten Service held at the Ford Memorial United Methodist Church in Ford City yesterday.

At the service in Ford City, sponsored by the Ford City Ministerium, there was a brief devotional message by Pastor Jim Vincent of the First Baptist Church of Ford City followed by a light lunch for a free-will donation.

Audience members at he Grace Presbyterian Church service were permitted to eat their lunch first, and then they were treated to a message from Reverend Dana Wilmot.

At the end of the services, attendees seemed to enjoy the messages they had received. They left feeling nourished; body and soul.
