OBIT: Roy J. Heilman Jr.

Roy J. Heilman Jr. died on Monday, February 8, 2010 at the Armstrong County Health Center. He was 57.

He was born on July 24, 1952 in Kittanning to Roy J. Heilman Sr. and Betty (Bowser) Heilman.

He worked at the Barker Bus Company and was a member of the North Buffalo Grace Brethren Church.

He enjoyed camping and fishing, and working on cars.

He is survived by his parents; his wife Sherry (Townsend) Heilman of 35 years; two daughters: Lisa Waldor (and husband Asher) of Ford City and Veda Kunkle and friend Curtis Askins of Kittanning; a son Shawn Heilman (and Trisha) of Kittanning; six grandchildren: Andrew Toy, Randi Toy, Kenneth Kunkle, Austin Kunkle, Katelynn Heilman, and Haley Heilman; a brother William Heilman of Kittanning; four sisters: Sherry Sharp (and husband David) of Goheenville, Donna Garner (and husband Tom) of Dayton, Tammy Iseman (and husband Ed) of Kittanning, and Barbara Knight (and husband George) of Kittanning.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, and 10AM until the time of service at 11AM at North Buffalo Grace Brethren Church. The Reverend David Blevins, church pastor, will officiate the service. Interment will take place in the Center Hill Cemetery.
