OBIT: Mary Paulette Houser
Mary Paulette Houser, 61, of Mayport, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born on March 19, 1948 in Butler to Paul and Mary Ann (Walls) Stevenson. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Countryside Baptist Church of Frostburg, PA. Mary enjoyed camping, shopping with her daughters, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Michael Houser; three daughters: Mary Toy and husband David of Delancey, PA, Rita Toy and husband Keith of Mayport, and Michelle Adams and husband Pete of Mayport; three sons: Barry Houser of Ford City, Mike Houser and wife Stacy of Punxsutawney, and Jimmy Houser of Mayport; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother James Stevenson; two sisters: Betty Ballard and Dolly Irvine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Harold and William Stevenson; and a sister Kaye Johns.
Friends will be received from 7-9 PM on Wednesday, and 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Thursday in the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning, where a funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday with Pastor Donald Pendley officiating. Interment will take place in the Cochran Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Michael Houser.
