Deer Causes Accident on Route 422

An accident occurred around midnight on Thursday in South Buffalo Township. State Police report that Landon M. Kijowski, 18, of Kittanning was driving a 2004 Pontiac Aztek north on Route 28. Kijowski swerved to miss a deer on the roadway. His vehicle could not avoid missing the deer and began to skid is a clockwise direction. It entered the eastern berm and struck a road sign, then landed in the ditch,  overturning one complete roll. Kijowski received minor injuries.
