OBIT: Susan Dianna Wright

Susan Dianna Wright, 49, of Dayton, PA, died, Thursday, December 10, 2009, at her home.

She was born September 6, 1960, in Rural Valley, Armstrong Co., PA to Ronald L. Walker, Sr. and the late C. Elaine (Keeler) Walker Barrett.

Susan was a member of the Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church. She was a 1979 graduate of Dayton High School where she enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball, and softball. Susan also took pleasure in walking and bike riding.

She is survived by her son, Scott A. Wright of Whitesburg, PA; a daughter, Ashley Cumberledge of Whitesburg; a father, Ronald L. Walker, Sr. and wife Kay of Rural Valley, PA; her dad who raised her, Harold Barrett of Smicksburg; four brothers, Larry L. Walker of Rural Valley, PA, Ronald L. Walker, Jr. of Dayton, PA, Harold E. Barrett of Greensburg, and Russ Walker and wife Amy of Worthington, PA; four sisters, Cheryl D. Barnett and husband Robert ‘Barney’ of Dayton, PA, Penny L. Nimerosky and husband Matt of Smicksburg, Sandy McCaslin and husband Mike of Rural Valley, PA, and Sonya Freeberg and husband Rich of Rural Valley, PA.

She was preceded in death by her mother, C. Elaine (Keeler) Walker Barrett; and her husband, Philip S. Wright who died April 8, 1994.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Saturday, December 12, 2009, and 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Sunday, December 13, 2009, at the Bauer-Bly Funeral Home, 125 E. Main Street, Dayton, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM at the Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church on Monday, December 14, 2009, with Rev. Laurie Milligan officiating. Interment will follow in the Elderton Cemetery, Armstrong Co., PA.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church Youth Group, 2540 Dayton Smicksburg Road, Dayton, PA 16222.
