State Police To Conduct Child Seat Inspection

On Thursday, November 19 between the hours of 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. members at the Kittanning State Police Barracks will be available at 184 Nolte Drive in East Franklin Township to inspect child safety restraints. Members will also be available to teach parents how to properly install child safety restraints in their vehicles. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, studies have shown that a vast majority of child restraint seats are not properly installed. Anyone interested in having their seat inspected is welcome to come to the child safety seat check. There is no cost to attend the event.
