RIZZO: Too Early for the Steelers

by Michael Rizzo

I normally let Chad Puz handle all the Steeler talk, but I’ll take a shot at it today. I’m very positive if the Steelers play Cincinnati in the playoffs, they will win. Sunday’s game did not feel like a big game. It was sunny out and the warm weather gave it a September feel. The Steelers seem to be at their best in the big game atmosphere. They live for those winter nights when the lights are on. A lot of guys on this team have won two Super Bowls, and they know the routine. They know that all they have to do is make the playoffs. Their remaining schedule only has one team, Green Bay, currently over .500. They could easily go 6-1 the rest of the way. The key for the Steelers will be getting their hunger back in time for the Playoffs. Once they’re motivated, then they’re almost unbeatable.
